Listening to the sound from a connected player
You can enjoy the audio from players such as televisions,
Blu-ray disc players, and game consoles. See
“Connecting a player” (
> 12) for connection.
1. Switch the input source with the INPUT SELECTOR
button to match the terminals you have connected the
players to. (If you connected to the BD/DVD terminal,
select “BD/DVD”.)
2. Start play on the player.
If “3. Hardware”-“Opt1 In Wakeup” (
> 31) is set to
“On” in the setup menu, then once play starts on a
device connected to the OPTICAL terminal, this unit
switches on automatically and the input source is
selected.
0 While playing an analog source, if a digital signal is
input to the input source with the same name, play
switches to the digital signal.
INPUT
SELECTOR
By connecting an Onkyo component with RI jack to
the unit by using an RI cable and an RCA cable, you
can link the unit’s power and input selection and
enable operation with this unit’s remote control. For
details, refer to the instruction manual of the
component with the RI jack.
0 Part of the function may not operate even if it is
connected via RI depending on the equipment.
0 To connect to the RI dock and enable the link, you
must rename the input selectors on the unit. Turn
the INPUT control on the main unit to select
“GAME” on the display. Next press and hold the
ENTER button for about 3 seconds to change the
input source name to “DOCK”.
