Baste
the
closed
zipper
on
the
fabric,
then
open
it.
Stitch
close
to
the
left
edge
of
the
zipper
for
about
5
cm
(2”),
guiding
the
right
edge
of
the
foot
along
the
zipper
teeth
(Fig.
1).
Leave
the
needle
in
the
material,
raise
the
zipper
foot
and
close
the
zipper.
Then
lower
the
zipper
foot
again
(Fig.
2).
Continue
stitching
until
you
reach
the
end
of
the
zipper,
then
stitch
across
this
end
and
up
the
other
side
close
to
the
right
edge
of
the
zipper
(Fig.
3).
Stop
about
5
cm
(2”)
short
of
the
end
of
the
seam,
raise
the
zipper
foot
and
open
the
zipper.
Continue
sewing
to
the
end
of
the
zipper.
