Note: Before you turn the stitch width dial,
raise the needle to its highest position, other-
wise it may bend or break.
Adjustable Needle Position
When a straight stitch is selected, the stitch
width dial can be used to adjust the needle
position from 0-6 mm. This is convenient
when you need to adjust the position of the
stitch for example when topstitching.
Note: Before you turn the stitch width dial,
raise the needle to its highest position, other-
wise it may bend or break.
On model 150s/160s the needle position
is adjusted from the center to the left. On
model 130s/140s the needle position is ad-
justed from the center to the right.
Reverse Sewing
Press the reverse lever down to sew in
reverse.
The machine sews in reverse only as long
as the reverse sewing button is pressed.
