contents

erased,
memorize
it
again.
Last
station
memory
The
last
received
AM
and
FM
stations
remain
stored
despite
input
selector
and/or
POWER
switching.
To
recall,
use
BAND
selector
button.
TAPE PLAY
(Cassette
deck
operation)
Tapes
may
be
played
back
in
Deck
|
or
Deck
Hl
but
not
in
both
decks
at
the
same
time
1.
Press
EJECT
button.
and
load
a
recorded
tape.
2.
Set
the
DOLBY
NR
switch
to
the
same
position
used
for
recording.
3.
Press
PLAY
button
((>
or
<<).
Press
PLAY
button
of
the
loaded
deck.
4.
Adjust
VOLUME
control
on
the
amplifier
and
the
tone
with
the
graphic
equalizer
controls.
5.
To
stop
playback,
press
STOP
button
(<°).
Auto
Stop
Mechanism
The
mechanisrn
stops
automatically
when
the
end
of
tape
is
reached.
NOTE:
When
the
PLAY
button
of
one
deck
is
pressed
while
the
other
deck
is
in
playback
mode,
the
former
stops
and
the
flatter
starts
playback
RECORDING
ONTO
A
CASSETTE
TAPE
(Cassette
deck
operation)
Use
the
normal
tape
or
chrome
tape.
Material
can
be
recorded
on
Deck
I!
only.
Recording
is
not
possible
on
Deck
|.
You
can
make
a
recording
of
a
source
which
has
passed
through
the
graphic
equalizer.
As
this
unit
has
an
integrated
auto-reverse
tape
system,
tracks
will
be
automatically
recorded
on
Sides
A
and
B
of
a
tape.
To
record
only
one
side,
perform
recording
in
the
REVERSE
mode
(<}).
(However,
this
does
not
function
when
copying
tapes.)
An
alternative
is
to
remove
the
erasure
prevention
tab
of
the
side
not
to
be
recorded
This
unit
has
a
built-in
automatic
level
control
which
dispenses
with
the
need
to
adjust
the
recording
level.
1.
Press
EJECT
button,
and
load
the
tape
for
recording
into
Deck

Check
to
see
that
the
accidental
erasure
prevention
tabs
are
not
broken
off.
2.
Set
DOLBY
NR
switch
to
the
desired
position.
*
A
tape
which
has
been
recorded
using
the
DOLBY
NR
system
must
be
played
back
with
the
same
system

selector
button
on
the
amplifier
to
select
and
play
the
recording
source.
