There
is
variation
in
actual
tape
length
even
among
cassettes
of
the
same
length
label
(C-60,
C-90,
etc.).
Therefore,
even
if
the
recording
tape
is
labeled
as
the
same
length
as
the
playback
tape,
it
is
possible
for
the
recording
tape
to
end
first
without
recording
all
of
the
contents
of
the
playback
tape.

recording

a
CD
to
a
cassette
tape

The
numbers
indicated
in
the
figure
below
are
the
track
numbers
of
a
CD
NORMAL:
If
the
recording
is
finished
in
the
middle
of
a
track
at
the
end
of
Side
A,
that
track
will
be
recorded
from
the
beginning
on
Side
B.
FINE:
Records
tracks
which
are
selected
by
the
CD
section
in
the
sequence
of
their
running
time,
so
that
the
blank
portion
at
the
tape
end
will
be
as
short
as
possible,
according
to
the
tape
fength,
Recording
will
start
in
the
forward
direction
([>).
When
the
end
of
this
side
is
reached,
tape
direction
will
change
and
recording
will
continue
in
the
reverse
direction
(<)
in
the
A.S.E.S,
mode,
tracks
are
recorded
with
a
blank
portion
of
approximately
5
seconds
between
tracks.

If
the
CD
player
section
is
operating
in
a
programmed
mode,
then
A.S.E.S.
proceeds
with
the
prograrnmed
song
order
(NORMAL),

CD
player

graphic
equalizer
controls

change
the
sound
quality

operation,

STOP

needs

recorded

change

CD
and
press
the
NORM
button.

programmed

tracks

recorded

Sides
A

8,

the
result

displayed.

time
the
TIME
(CALENDAR)
button

pressed,
the
contents
programmed
on
Sides
A
and
B
are
displayed,
respectively

AS.E.S.
performs
automatic
recording

attempt

perform
manual

operation.

stop

incorrectly
when
there

a
song
change
near
the
end
of
the
tape.
In
such
cases
use
manual
operations
to
record
the
remaining
songs.

Up
to
18
songs
per
dise
can
be
programmed
using
COMPU

SLEEP
TIMER
Automatically
turns
off
power.
Power
is
turned
off
automatically
after
your
set
time
has
elapsed.
Each
time
you
press
the
SLEEP
button,
the
setting
changes
in
the
sequence
shown
here.
