WARRANTY
WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS:
Limitations of Warranties and Remedies
This Polaris limited warranty covers all parts and components except
forimpellerdamagecausedbyingestionofrocks,sand,orgravelorany
other damagecaused by operation inshallow water. The warranty also
excludes any other failures that are not caused by a defect in material
or workmanship.
Wa rranty Policy
Thiswarranty does notcover accidental damage, normal wear and tear,
abuseorimproperhandling.Thiswarranty also doesnotcoveranyper-
sonal watercraft that has been altered structurally, modified, neglected,
improperlymaintained,usedforracing, orusedforpurposesotherthan
for which itwas manufactured, or forany damages which occur during
trailertransitorasaresultofunauthorized serviceortheuseofunautho-
rized parts. In addition, this warranty does not cover physical damage
to paintor finish,gelcoatstress cracks, tearingor puncturing of uphol-
stery material, corrosion, or defects in parts, components or personal
watercraft due to fire, explosions or any other cause beyond Polaris’
control.
Thiswarrantydoesnotcovertheuseofunauthorizedlubricants,chemi-
cals, or fuels that are not compatible with the Polaris personal water-
craft.Inaddition,thiswarrantydoesnotcoverstresscracks,submersion
or growth of marine organisms on hull and deck.
The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be, at Polaris’
exclusive option, repair or replacement of any defective materials, or
components or products. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS
WARRANTYARE THE ONLY REMEDIES AVAILABLETOANY
PERSON FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. POLARIS
SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TOANY PERSON FOR INCIDEN-
TAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY DE-
SCRIPTION, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER CONTRACT, NEG-
LIGENCE,OR OTHERTORT OR OTHERWISE.Somestates do not
permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential dam-
ages or implied warranties, so theabove limitationsor exclusions may
not apply to you if inconsistent with controlling state law.
ALLIMPLIEDWARRANTIES(INCLUDINGBUT NOTLIMITED
TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE LIMITED
IN DURATION TO THE ABOVE ONE YEAR WARRANTY PE-
RIOD. POLARIS FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS WAR-
RANTIES NOT STATED INTHIS WARRANTY. Somestates donot
allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitation may not apply to you if inconsistent with controlling state
law.
