Storage Recommendations
Clean the Exterior
Make necessary repairs and then clean the ATV thoroughly as outlined on page 160.
Stabilize the Fuel
Add P olaris Carbon Clean Fuel Treatment or Polaris Fuel Stabilizer to the fuel tank,
following the instructions on the container for the recomme nded amount. Fill the fuel tank
with fuel. Allow 15-20 minutes of opera tion for the stabilize r to disperse through the fuel in
the tank and carburetor. T urn the fuel valve off and drain the carbure tor bowl. NOTE: Carbon
clean will also reduce the possibility of bacterial growth in the fuel system.
Starting the engine during the storage period will disturb the protective film created by
fogging and damage could occur . Never start the engine during the storage period.
