1 Do one of the following:
• On the Home screen, long press the line key next to the contact.
• Go to Directories, select Contact Directory or Favorites, and then select a contact.
2 Select Edit.
3 From the Edit Contact screen, select Favorite Index and delete the favorite’s index number.
4 Select Save.
Viewing Favorites
View favorites in the Favorites list on the Directories screen or on the Home or Lines screen. Favorites display
c
onsecutively according to their index number. The contact with the lowest number is displays first.
View Favorites on the Favorites List
View favorites in the Favorites list on the Directories screen.
Task
1 Do one of the following:
• On the Home screen, press the Directories softkey.
• Go to Menu > Directories.
2 Select Favorites.
3 Select a contact on the list to view details about that contact.
View Favorites on the Home Screen
You can view the details for a favorite from the Home or Lines screen.
Task
1 Press the Home key to go the Home screen.
2 Long press the line key next to a contact to view information about that contact.
Calling Favorites
Call favorite contacts from the Favorites list or from your Home or Lines screen.
Call Favorites from the Favorites List
You can call contacts directly from the Favorites list.
Task
1 Navigate to Directories and select Favorites.
2 Select a contact from the list.
3 Press the Dial softkey.
Call Favorites from the Lines Screen
Call favorites from the Lines screen on your phone.
Task
» Select a line key associated with a favorite on the Lines screen.
The phone places a call to the favorite automatically.
Using Buddy Lists
A Buddy list is a list of users whose status or presence you can monitor.
