Troubleshooting
Problem Possible causes Remedies
The device is not connected to the
power supply
Connect TL01-A to the control
equipment (MWG61 or WG-net)
The sensor is completely off
The control equipment (MWG61 or
WG-net) is not connected
Connect the control equipment
(MWG61 or WG-net) to the 24Vdc
power supply
The E.M.D. function is not
working, the red LED is on
No line/edge Position the sensor or the material
so that the line/edge is inside the
sensor’s field of view.
The E.M.D. function is not
working, the red LED is off
The electronic movement is at the
maximum.
(NOTE: it can be more or less
large, in relation to the field of view)
Reposition the sensor manually to
bring the line/edge in about the
middle of the sensor’s field of view
The contrast calibration has not
been successful even though the
focus procedure was performed
without any problems
Insufficient contrast Change the background contrast,
e.g. by wrapping a white sheet on
the contrast roller, if it is black
