you
suspect
a fault in the tuner, make
sure that the unit
is
correctly
installed and that
it is being operated in accordance with these
instructions.

Your
tuner is controlled and monitored by a
microprocessor.
This microprocessor is auto-
matically initialized when
the line
voltage is
applied.
Faults in
the AC supply
system or other
faults
can
putthe
microprocessor
into an undefined
state. The tuner can no longer
be operated.
In order to reinitialize
the
microprocessor,
press
the RESET
button
located
above the
RE-
CALL
[16]
key
by means of a
pointed
object
(bent
open
paper
clip).
lf the
power
plug
is readily
accessible, it is bet-
ter to disconnect it from
the AC outlet
for
approx.
15 seconds rather than
pressing
the
RESET button.
During
the
initialization
of the microprocessor
certain
segments of the display
111l
may
briefly light
up.
This is
a
normal
process
and
does
not
damage the unit.
