5. Preparation of Type G2 White Ink cartridges
Before using new Type G2 White Ink, please agitate at least 200 times.
After filling the cartridge with ink, we recommend that you perform a test print to check the white
density before printing. If the white density is too low in the test print, please agitate the
cartridge additionally, and then perform "strong" head cleaning 3-4 times. For details, please
refer to the following.
How to agitate white ink cartridges
Agitate the ink cartridge before installing the Type G2 White Ink Cartridge in the printer.
The Type G2 White Ink Cartridge should be agitated regularly according to the printer's
instructions; every 36 hours, a message will appear prompting you to agitate the ink in the White
Ink Cartridge. When the message appears, follow the instructions to agitate the white ink
cartridge as soon as you notice it.
White ink has the property of sedimentation (the tendency for ink components to accumulate
at the bottom of the ink solution). If the ink settles, it may cause a decrease in print density or
nozzle clogging. Agitate the white ink cartridge regularly after opening the white ink cartridge
and according to the printer's instructions.
Please agitate the white ink cartridge at least 200 times after opening the Type G2
White Ink cartridge and if the white ink cartridge has been stored for a long time.
The white density may be low, especially when initially filling the cartridge or when the Type
G2 White Ink is filled again after replacing it with cleaning solution. We recommend that you
perform a trial print to check the white density before printing. If the white density is too light,
please agitate the cartridge additionally. After that, perform "strong" head cleaning 3-4 times.
IMPORTANT!
Failure to follow these procedures may cause the print head to eject improperly,
resulting in malfunction.
To prevent ink leakage, do not shake the ink cartridge too fast or too hard.
Perform agitation in the following manner.
 To prevent being stained by ink or cleaning solution, wear protective gear (protective
gloves, protective glasses/goggles, protective clothing). Also take care not to stain your
surroundings while agitating the ink.


Use a lint free wipe to wipe off any dirt on the white ink cartridge and cartridge slot. Make
sure there are no tears or cracks on the white ink cartridge.
