The
MIDI
Connectors
Take
a
look
at
the
rear
panel
of
your
piano.
You
should
be
able
to
quickly
find
the
two
MIDI
sockets.
These
connectors
enable
the
piano
to
‘converse’
with
other
MIDI-equipped
units.
The
two
connectors
function
as
follows:
MIDI
IN
Connector
This
connector
is
where
messages
from
other
MIDI-equipped
units
are
received,
and
can
be
likened
to
the
“ears”
which
lis-
ten
to
what
the
other
instrument
has
to
convey.
MIDI
OUT
Connector
From
this
connector,
messages
are
sent
out
to
other
MIDI-
equipped
units.
It
can
be
likened
to
the
“mouth”
in
the
ongo-
ing
dialogue
between
the
units.
