Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields
when operating the product. Failure to do so could result in objects
being thrown into your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.
When handling the trimmer assembly, wear non-slip, heavy-duty
protective gloves. Wear non-skid, protective footwear that will
protect your feet and improve your footing on slippery surfaces.
Attach the blade guard. Tighten the blade guard in place.
Push the lock button from the lower shaft, and slide out the hanger
cap. Attach the lower shaft to the upper shaft until the lock button
clicks into place. Tighten the knob to secure.
Attach the front handle to the upper shaft. Tighten the front handle
in place.
Attach the shoulder strap to the strap hanger.
NOTE: Identify the quick-release mechanism and practice using it
before using the product.
Use synthetic 2-stroke lubricant only. Do not use automotive
lubricant or 2-stroke outboard lubricant. Mix 2% synthetic 2-stroke
lubricant into the petrol for 50:1 ratio.
Loosen and remove the fuel cap. Carefully pour fuel mixture into
the tank. Avoid spillage. Immediately replace the fuel cap and
hand tighten.
