5.1 Opening the settings

Some settings involve multiple windows similar to a wizard. In this case, the text "Step x/y" is
displayed at the bottom in the center of the work area. With the ">" key at the bottom right,
you advance to the next input window. With the "<" key at the bottom left, you return to the
previous input window.

Start Center of the 4" device
The buttons "Transfer", "Start" and "Settings" are displayed in a space
-saving manner in the
Start Center of the 4" device. The following but

Protecting the Start Center with a password
You can protect the Start Center against unauthorized operation. You can read the settings
in the Start Center without having entered a password, however, you are not permitted to
edit the settings.
This prevents inadvertent operations and increases security for the system or machine
because the settings cannot be edited.
Note
If the password is no longer available for the Start Center, you first have to update the
operating system before you can make any changes in the Start Center.
All data on the HMI device is overwritten when you
update the operating system.
