The term "IFP devices" is used in this document to refer to all devices.
The device components are based on the following standard devices and provide the corresponding functionality:
• The front frame 4:3 (5:4) is based on the Industrial Flat Panel with capacitive multi-touch screen MT in the respective
basic version.
• The electronics and interfaces are based on the respective Industrial Flat Panel IFP V2 in the standard or extended version:
– SIMATIC IFP1500 V2,
SIMATIC IFP1500 V2 extended
– SIMATIC IFP1900 V2,
SIMATIC IFP1900 V2 extended
• The following applies to the possible operating modes:
– In "standard mode", a standard version is directly connected to the PC via a USB cable and a DVI/DisplayPort cable
≤ 5 m long.
– In "Extended mode", an extended version can be connected via a Cat. 6A Ethernet cable > 5 m and the Transceiver
Unit connected to the PC.
