Along with the PDT software, various software components are installed on your PC
depending on the device features, allowing you to configure the SIMATIC IPC or connected
SIMATIC Industrial Flat Panel. The IPC Configuration Center provides a convenient interface
for operating these software components.
You can use the Configuration Center to configure your device directly or open the
respective setting dialogs of the operating system.

● A corresponding software component is installed for each SIMATIC device type on the
PC (see initial commissioning):

– for SIMATIC IPC/IFP with resistive single-touch screen:

– for SIMATIC IPC/IFP with capacitive multi-touch screen:
