4.1 Emergency stop chain
Actuate the EMERGENCY STOP button in emergency situations, if:
• People are at risk.
• There is the danger of machines or the workpiece being damaged
As a rule, when actuating the EMERGENCY STOP button, all drives are brought to a standstill with
the max. braking torque.
To release the EMERGENCY STOP button, turn it to the left.
In the event of danger to people and damage to the machine, the EMERGENCY STOP circuit of
the MPP 1500D/E is initiated by actuating the EMERGENCY STOP button.

WARNING
Risk of death when prematurely releasing the EMERGENCY STOP button
There is a risk of death if you release the EMERGENCY STOP button prematurely.
After the system has been stopped, it is only permissible that you release the EMERGENCY STOP
button and restart the system if you have removed the reasons for the EMERGENCY STOP and
a safe restart is possible.
