NAME FUNCTION
Clutch-Brake Disengages tractor drive when pressed down at least
Pedal halfway. Applies brake when fully depressed. Engages
parking brake when latched over footrest.
Optional
Lift Lever
Lifts and holds attachments in transport position (only
required with attachment other than mower). (Optional)
Ignition
Switch
Operates with key to start, run or stop engine.
Choke
Aids in starting engine (12.5 & 16 H.P.). Pull out to activate.
Light Switch
Switches headlights on or off.
Lift Lever
Lifts and holds mower in transport position.
Mower Height
Control Lever
Adjusts mower cutting height.
PTO
(Power Take
Off) Lever
Engages and disengages power to attachment. Pull back
to disengage.
Gear Shift
Lever
Shifts transmission gears to control ground speed. Five
speeds forward, one speed reverse.
Engine

Control
Position from SLOW to FAST to control engine speed.
Also position for choke on 11 H.P. & 12 H.P. engines.
Gas Gauge/
Cap
Shows amount of gasoline in the tank and serves as
tank cap.
Seat Deck
Latch
Pull down on latch underneath left foot rest while
