Other operating troubles
The following operating troubles may occur if you are logged in as supervisor.
The TIP or OTS system* does not work correctly
Cause Correction
The TIP system inserts threat objects for operators
only, but not for supervisors.
To test the TIP parameters, log in as operator.
You selected threat image categories which do not
contain any images or which contain deactivated im-
ages only.
Check the selected categories and activate a suf-
ficient number of images, if necessary (F 2-55 or
2-68).
The selecting percentage is set to 0% for all threat
image categories.
For one or several categories, set a selecting per-
centage of altogether 100% (F 2-52 or 2-66).
A removable drive* does not work
Cause Correction
The drive is not inserted correctly. Check if the release trigger of the drive has
locked and if the LED on the drive lights up
shortly when switching on the unit (F 2-4).
A USB memory* does not work
Cause Correction
The USB memory is not inserted correctly. Check the connection (F 2-8).
Error messages and error report
Except for the error messages listed in section 1 (para-
graph “Operating troubles - error messages”), the follow-
ing other may occur:

Unlike users with lower access level you
can copy all error messages collected as
yet in the error report to a ZIP disk*, a
CD* or a USB memory*.
