To Save
When a user records the video the
camera automatically stores the images
on the floppy disk. The user does not
need to perform any additional tasks to
save the images.
IV. Importing to PC or MAC
When the user captures images the camera formulates a simplified HTML page that
provides links to the images on the floppy. All the user needs to do is insert the floppy in
to a PC or MAC to view to the images. To access the floppy disk, the user can simply
open up a browser or a picture viewer to view the images. If additional edits are
required, it will become necessary for the user to have a photo-editing program.
V. Advanced Settings
There are additional features to the Sony Mavica. In the remainder of this document we
will briefly discuss the external components and summarize the primary functions in the
menu settings.
External Components
View Adjustor
Turn the knob up or down
to focus the view.
Display
Shows all functions being
applied to the camera on the
LCD screen.
Program AE
A multi-use button that
allows users to set aperture,
shutter speed, and reduce
color suppression in certain
settings.
Spot Meter
Assists the user in “pulling”
the subject away from the
background.
