OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
INITIAL OPERATION
As
a
preliminary
to
initial
operation,
check
that
the
POWER
switch
is
turned
OFF
and
plug
the
power
cord
into
a
suitable
power
outlet.
Before
proceeding
to
any
type
of
operation,
set
the
controls
and
switches
as
shown:
Depress
Center position Set according to the
cartridge used *
Speaker-connected position
Player-connected position
Push
the
lower
end
to
open
the
OFF
control
panel
cover.
STEREO
SOURCE
*
PASS:
For
moving-magnet
cartridges
or
moving-coil
cartridges
with
output
voltage
more
than
1mV.
402:
For
moving-coil
cartridges
having
an
impedance
of
4ohms
or
more.
32:
For
moving-coil
cartridges
having
an
impedance
in
the
0.5-
4ohm
range.
