Do not drip petrol onto the plastic
parts to avoid ruining them. In the
event of accidental leaks, rinse imme-
diately with water. The warranty does
not cover for damage to plastic parts
of the bodywork or the engine caused
by petrol.
NOTE! Fuel is perishable and should
not remain in the tank for more than 30
days.
Environmentally friendly fuels such as alkylate
petrol can be used. The composition of these
petrols has a minor impact on people and the
environment.
There are no reported negative eects related
to their use. However, there are types of alkylate
gasoline on the market for which it is not possible
to give precise indications regarding their use.
For further information, please consult the
instructions and data provided by the alkylate
petrol manufacturer.
In use prior to storage for a long pe-
riod, (e.g. winter season), ll the tank
with a quantity of fuel sucient to
complete that last use.
In fact, before storing the machine, the
fuel tank must be completely emptied
(see 11).
7.4 CHECKING THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL
(21; 22)
The machine is delivered with a full tank of oil in
the engine.
Before starting the machine, check the
oil level in the engine.

9.5.1.
7.5 CHECKING THE TRANSMISSION OIL
LEVEL
To check/top up the transmission oil
see 9.7.1.
7.6 SAFETY CHECKS
When testing the machine, verify that the results
of the safety checks match the results in the
following tables.
Always carry out the safety checks be-
fore use.
If any of the results fails to match the
indications provided in the following
tables, do not use the machine!
Take it to a service centre to be
checked and repaired if necessary.
7.6.1 General safety check

7.6.2 Electrical safety check

7.7 START-UP/WORKING
When using the machine, the bonnet
must be closed and locked.
Always use full gas when using the
machine.
When starting the machine wait 2 sec-
onds in the start position before start-
ing the engine.
1. Open the fuel stopcock (24).
2. Check that the spark plug leads are inserted
into their spark plugs.
3. Make sure the power socket is disconnected
(11:D; 12:D).
4. Do not keep your foot on the service/drive
brake pedal (10:F).
