3.2 SB40, SB44, SB52
The clearing saw is supplied in a box together with the
following parts:
Saw blade.
Trimmer head.
Grass cutting blade.
Transport guard for blade.
Blade guard with screws and washers.
Trimmer guard with screws and washers.
Instruction manual.
Tool set. See Fig. 2.

The handlebars, blade/trimmer head, and blade guard are
dismantled on delivery.

The clearing saw is driven by a two-stroke engine. The
rotation is transferred to the angular gear by means of a shaft
built into the shaft arm. The unit is hung up, well-balanced,
in a harness. The harness is placed over the operator's
shoulders.
The clearing saw can be used for the following:
Clearing of bushes and small trees (SB40, SB44, SB52).
Clearing of thick grass.
Grass trimming.
The clearing saw consists of the following parts.
1. Guard for blade (SB40, SB44, SB52)
2. Transport guard for blade
3. Blade for sawing (SB40, SB44, SB52)
4. Blade for grass clearing
5. Trimmer head
6. Guard for trimmer head
7. Grease plug
8. Hole for locking of blade/trimmer head
9. Angular gear
10. Shaft arm
11. Throttle control
12. Stop control
13. Throttle lock
14.Handlebars
15.Screw
16.Connection for harness
17.Choke control
18. Fuel button
19. Idling adjustment
20.Handle for recoil starter

5 ASSEMBLY
5.1 HANDLEBARS, SEE FIG. 4
SB28, SB30
Fit the handlebars (14) with the screw (15) and clamp.
SB40, SB44, SB52
Fit the handlebars (14) with the thumb screw (15) and clamp.
Tighten the thumb screw by hand.
5.2 GUARD FOR BLADE/TRIMMER HEAD
Fit the relevant guard for the blade/trimmer head. If a blade
is used, fit the small guard. If the trimmer head is used, fit the
large guard.
For the blade, see Fig. 5. For the trimmer head, see Fig. 6.
Fit the guard with the accompanying two screws and
washers. Tighten the screws with the Allen key.
5.3 BLADE, SEE FIG. 5
Fit the following parts on the angular gear's shaft:
1. Spacer.
2. Protective washer.
3. One of the blades. Fit the blade in the right direction. The
arrow shows the cutting direction.
4. Blade flange.
5. Screw with protective cap.
Insert the accompanying screwdriver in the hole in the
angular gear's housing. Rotate the shaft so that the
screwdriver can be pressed in and lock the spindle.
See Fig. 7.
Tighten the nut with the accompanying spanner.
Note! Left-hand thread.
