FRONT WHEEL REMOVAL
1. Place the motorcycle on the side
stand.
2. Remove the brake caliper from the
front fork by unfastening two
mounting bolts 1 on the caliper.
NOTE: Never squeeze the front brake
lever with the caliper removed. It is
very difficult to force the pads back
into the caliper assembly and brake
fluid leakage may result.
WARNING
If the side stand/ignition interlock
system is not working properly, it
is possible to ride the motorcycle
with the side stand in the down
position. This may interfere with
rider control during a left turn and
could cause an accident.
Check the side stand/ignition
interlock system for proper opera-
tion before riding. Check that the
side stand is returned to its full up
position before starting off.
