WARNING
An improperly retracted kick
starter lever can interfere with
rider control.
Be sure the kick starter lever is
returned to its home position
after starting the engine.
WARNING
Running the engine indoors or
in a garage can be hazardous.
Exhaust gas contains carbon
monoxide, a gas that is color-
less and odorless and can
cause death or severe injury.
Only run the engine outdoors
where there is fresh air.
WARNING
This motorcycle can start mov-
ing as soon as you start the
engine with the transmission in
gear. Unexpected movement
can cause you to lose control
of the motorcycle.
Shift into neutral before you
start the engine.
CAUTION
Running the engine too long
without riding may cause the
engine to overheat. Overheat-
ing can result in damage to
internal engine components.
Shut the engine off if you can-
not begin your ride promptly.
