Hour meter “ ”
The hour meter indicators total time
that the vehicle is used.
Fuel injection indicator
If the fuel injection system fails, “FI”
mark D and red indicator light 6
comes on in following two modes;
A. The symbol mark “FI” D and the
red indicator light 6 comes on
and remains lit.
B. The “FI” mark D and the red indi-
cator light 6 blinks.
The engine may continue to run in
mode A, but the engine will not start
in mode B.
NOTE:
• If the display indicates “FI”, and
the “FI” mark and red indicator
light come on, keep the engine
running and bring your vehicle to
an authorized Suzuki dealer. If the
engine stalls, try restarting the
engine after turning the ignition
switch off. Wait more than 3 sec-
onds before turning on the ignition
switch.
• If the display indicates “FI” contin-
uously, and the symbol mark “FI”
and red indicator light blinks, the
engine will not start. If the engine
is running, keep the engine run-
ning and bring your vehicle to an
authorized Suzuki dealer.
CAUTION
Riding the vehicle with the display
indicates the problem of the fuel
injection system and the indicator
light lit can damage the engine
and transmission.
Whenever the FI display, “FI” mark
and indicator come on, have your
authorized Suzuki dealer or a
qualified mechanic inspect the
fuel injection system as soon as
possible.
