WARNING
Exhaust gas contains carbon
monoxide, a dangerous gas
that is difficult to detect
because it is colorless and
odorless. Breathing carbon
monoxide can cause death or
severe injury.
Never start the engine or let it
run indoors or where there is
little or no ventilation.
NOTICE
After starting the engine, open-
ing the throttle or running the
motorcycle with the oil pres-
sure indicator light turned on
may adversely affect the
engine.
Make sure that the oil pressure
indicator light has turned off
before operating the throttle or
running the motorcycle.
NOTICE
Running the engine too long
without riding may cause the
engine to overheat. Overheat-
ing can result in damage to
internal engine components
and discoloration of exhaust
pipes.
Shut the engine off if you can-
not begin your ride promptly.
