2.3.1SupplyandExtractairFans
ThefanshaveexternalrotormotorsofECtypewhichcanbesteplesslycontrolledindividually0–100%.It
ispossibletoprogramthespeedin2steps(normal/reduced)dependingontheprogrammingoftheweek
schedule.Themotorbearingsarelifetimelubricatedandmaintenancefree.Itispossibletoremovethe
fansforcleaning,seechapter5formoreinformation.
2.3.1.1PressuretransmitterFans
2pressuretransmittersmaintaintheairowataconstantlevelbymeasuringthedifferentialpressureover
theinletconeofthefanimpellers(pos.9gure1,pos.10gure2).Thepressuretransmittersareinstalled
fromfactoryinallunitswithCAVcontrol.InVAVunitsthepressuretransmitterswillnotbemountedin
theunitfromfactory.Insteadtheywillbedeliveredlooselywiththeunittobemountedinthesupplyand
extractairducts,see“Installationinstructions”formoreinformationconcerningVAVinstalltions.
2.3.2SupplyandExtractairFilters
TheltersareofbagltertypewithlterqualityF7forthesupplyairlterandF5fortheextractairlter.
Theltersneedtobereplacedwhenpolluted.Newsetsoflterscanbeacquiredfromyourinstalleror
wholesaler.
2.3.2.1Pressureguardlters
Apressureguardmeasuresthedifferentialpressureoverthesupplyandextractairlters(pos.10gure
1,pos.9gure2).Whenthepressuredropreachesthesetvalueanalarmistriggeredinthemain
regulator.Thedifferentialpressurecanbesetbetween40and300Pa.Thepressureswitchispreset
fromfactoryto240Pa.
2.3.3HeatExchanger
TopvexSR/TRmodelsareequippedwithahighlyefcient,beltdriven,rotatingheatexchanger.Required
supplyairtemperatureisthereforenormallymaintainedwithoutaddingadditionalheat.Theoperationof
theheatexchangerisautomaticanddependsonthesettemperature.Anextradrivingbeltisincludedon
therotorondelivery(pos.8gure1andgure2).
Theheatexchangerisremovableforcleaningandmaintenance,seechapter5formoreinformation.
2.3.3.1Rotormotor
Therotormotordrivestheexchangerrotorwithavariablerpmaslongasthereisaheatdemand.The
motoriscontrolledbyananalogue0-10Vcontrolsignalgure1andgure2).
2.3.3.2Rotationguard
Asensorregisterstherotationoftheheatexchangerrotor.It’sconnectedtothemainregulatorwhich
givesanalarmiftherotorstopswhilethereisaheatdemand(pos.7gure1andgure2).
