section.Thecompletefanrackcanthenbepulledoutafteralltheattachedfastcouplingstotheelectric
wireshavebeendisconnected(gure9).Thefansmaybecleanedwithaclothorasoftbrush.Donot
usewater.Whitespiritcanbeusedtoremoveaccumulationswhichareotherwisedifculttoremove.
Allowdryingproperlybeforeremounting.
Thefanmotorbearingsarelifetimelubricatedandshouldnotbere-greased.

5.3.4CheckingtheHotwaterheatingbattery
Afterlongperiodsofoperation(usuallyseveralyears)dustmayhavedepositedonthesurfaceofthe
battery.Thismayreducebatteriescapacity.Thebatterycanbecleanedwithapressurewasherwith
mistingjets,orwithcompressedair.Cleaningshouldbecarriedoutcarefullysoasnottodamagethe
batteriesaluminiumns.Onceayearthebatterywatercircuitneedstobeventedtomaintainthe
batteriescapacity.
5.3.5CheckingtheElectricalheatingbattery
Afterlongperiodoftimedustandpollutantscanbuildupontheheatingrods.Thiscancauseunpleasant
odorsandintheworstcasere.Cleanwithcompressedair,vacuumorbrush.Theheatingpowercanbe
measured,intheelectricalconnectionbox,beforetheheatingseason.Bylargediscrepancieseachrod
needstobemeasured.Theautomatiksafetyfunctionneedstobetestedandveried.
