rooms,WCetc.Removediffusersandlouvresandwashinhotsoapywaterifrequired.Diffusers/louvres
mustbeputbackwiththeiroriginalsettingsandpositionsinordernottounbalancethesystem.
5.3.7CheckingtheOutdoorairintake
Leavesandpollutioncouldpluguptheairintakegrilleandreducetheunit’scapacity.Checktheairintake
grilleatleasttwiceayearandcleanifnecessary.
5.3.8CheckingtheDuctsystem
Dustandgreasesettlementsmaybuildupintheductsystemevenifltersarechangedregularly.This
willreducetheefciencyoftheinstallation.Theductsshouldthereforebecleaned/changedwhen
necessary.Steelductscanbecleanedbypullingabrush,soakedinhotsoapywaterthroughtheductvia
diffuser/louvreopeningsorspecialinspectionhatchesintheductsystem(iftted).
5.3.9ChangingtheInternalBattery
Note:
ThisprocedurerequiresknowledgeofproperESDprotection;i.e.anearthedwristbandmustbeused!
Whenthealarm”InternalBattery”isactivatedandthebatteryLEDlightsupred,thebatteryforbackupof
programmemoryandreal-timeclockhasbecometooweak.Thebatteryisreplacedasdescribedbelow.
Abackupcapacitorsavesthememoryandkeepstheclockrunningforatleast10minutesafterthepower
supplyisremoved.Therefore,ifthebatteryreplacementtakeslessthan10minutes,therewillbenoneed
toreloadtheprogram,andtheclockwillcontinuetorunnormally.
ThereplacementbatterymustbeofthetypeCR2032.

screwdriver,andatthesametimepullingthe
edgesoutwards.

Gripthebatteryrmlywithyourngersandliftit
upwardsuntilitrisesfromitsholder.
Pressthenewbatteryrmlydownintoplace.Note
thattopreservecorrectpolarity,thebatterycan
onlybeinsertedthe“rightwayround”.
