Description
Internal File Format (.ISF) Sets the oscilloscope to save waveform data from analog channels (and math and reference
waveforms derived from analog channels), in internal waveform save file (.isf) format. This format
is the fastest to write and creates the sm alle st-size d file. Use this format if you intend to recall a
waveform to reference m emo ry for viewing o r measuring.
The oscilloscope cannot save digital waveforms in an .isf file format.
Spreadsheet File Format
(.CSV)
Sets the oscilloscope to save waveform data as a comma-separated data file compatible with
popular spreadsheet programs. This file cannot be recalled to reference memory.
Saving an Analog Waveform to Reference Mem ory. To save an analog waveform to nonvolatile memory inside the
oscilloscope, select the waveform that you want to save, push the Save Waveform screen b utton, and then select one of the
reference waveform locations. Two-channel and four-channel models have two reference locations.
Saved w avef orms contain only the most recent acquisition. Gray-scale information, if any, is not saved.
Displaying a Reference Waveform. To display a waveform stored in nonvolatile me mory:
