verytight.Whileholdingthebladewithablock
ofwood,putyourweightbehindtheratchetor
wrenchandtightentheboltsecurely.Thisboltis
verydifculttoovertighten.
AdjustingtheSelf-PropelDrive
Wheneveryouinstallanewself-propelcableorifthe
self-propeldriveisoutofadjustment,adjusttheself-propel
drive.
1.Turntheadjustmentknobcounterclockwisetoloosen
thecableadjustment(Figure31).

3.Lowerthemachinetoitslowestcutting-heightsetting;
refertoAdjustingtheCuttingHeight(page9).
4.Washouttheareaunderthereardeectorwherethe
clippingsgofromthehousingtothegrassbag.
Note:Washouttheareawiththebag-on-demandin
boththefullyforwardandfullyrearwardpositions.
5.Attachagardenhosethatisconnectedtoawater
supplytothewashoutport(Figure32).
