self-propeldrivecable.
1.Loosenthecablesupportnut(Figure28).

thereisnoslackinthecable(Figure29).

itsharpened(morefrequentlyifthe
edgedullsquickly).
Important: Y ou will need a torque wr ench to install
the blade pr oper l y .Ifyoudonothaveatorque
wrenchorareuncomfortableperformingthis
procedure,contactanAuthorizedServiceDealer.
Examinethebladewheneveryourunoutofgasoline.If
thebladeisdamagedorcracked,replaceitimmediately.
Ifthebladeedgeisdullornicked,haveitsharpenedand
balanced,orreplaceit.
Thebladeissharp;contactingthebladecan
resultinseriouspersonalinjury.
Weargloveswhenservicingtheblade.
1.Disconnectthesparkplugwirefromthesparkplug.
RefertoPreparingforMaintenance.
2.Tipthemowerontoitssidewiththeairlterup.
3.Removethe2bladenutsandthestiffener(Figure30).

bladefromstallingwhileyoumow.
1.Disconnectthesparkplugwirefromthesparkplug.

2.Tipthemowerontoitssidewiththeairlterup.
3.Removethe2bladenutsandthestiffener(Figure31).
