1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,movethe
speed-controllevertotheNEUTRALposition,
disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),and
engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Checkthetirepressureinthedrivetires;referto
CheckingtheTirePressure(page45).
4.Verifythatallhairpincottersareinthe7.62
cm(3inch)mower-deck-heightholeswiththe
spacersunderthehairpincotters(Figure77).

•Avoidsuddenaccelerationordeceleration.
