Thisprocedureisapplicableonlytomachineswith
theowbafelocks.Certainmodelswillhavenuts
andboltsin-placeoftheowbafelocksandcanbe
adjustedthesame.
Themowerdischargeowcanbeadjustedfordifferent
typesofmowingconditions.Positionthecamlocks
andbafetogivethebestqualityofcut.
1.Disengagethebladecontrolswitch(PTO),move
themotioncontrolleverstotheneutrallocked
positionandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Toadjustthecamlocks,swingtheleverupto
loosenthecamlock(Figure31).
4.Adjustthebafeandcamlocksintheslotstothe
desireddischargeow.
5.Swingtheleverbackovertotightenthebafeand
camlocks(Figure31).
6.Ifthecamlocksdonotlockthebafeintoplace
oritistootight,loosentheleverandthenrotate
thecamlock.Adjustthecamlockuntilthedesired
lockingpressureisachieved.
