Electrical Drawing Designations
The following abbreviations are used for wire harness
colors on the electrical schematics and wire harness
drawings in this chapter.

Numerous harness wires used on Groundsmaster 4500
and 4700 machines include a line with an alternate color.
These wires are identified with the wire color and line
color with either a / or _ separating the color abbrevi-
ations listed above (e.g. R/BK is a red wire with a black
line, OR_BK is an orange wire with a black line).
NOTE: The electrical harness drawings in this chapter
identify both the wire color and the wire gauge. For ex-
ample, 16 BK on a harness diagram identifies a 16
gauge wire that has a black insulator.
NOTE: A splice used in a wire harness will be identified
on the wire harness diagram by SP. The manufacturing
number of the splice is also identified on the wire har-
ness diagram (e.g. SP01 is s plice number 1).
