1.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stop,andremovekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Waitformufertocool.
3.Ifthereareanybreaksinthescreenorwelds,
replacethearrester.
4.Ifthescreenisplugged,removethearrester
andshakethelooseparticlesoutofthearrester
andcleanthescreenwithawirebrush(soakit
insolventifnecessary).Installthearresteron
theexhaustoutlet.

ServiceInterval:Every500hours
1.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stop,andremovekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removethelterfromtheventhose.
3.Insertanewlterintotheendoftheventhose.

ReplacingtheFuelFilter
ServiceInterval:Every500hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)(moreoftenindusty,
dirtyconditions).
Important:Installthefuellinehosesandsecure
withplastictiesthesameastheywereoriginally
installedatthefactorytokeepthefuellineaway
fromcomponentsthatcancausefuellinedamage.
Thefuellterislocatedneartheengineontheleft
frontoftheengine.
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),move
themotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position,andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Allowthemachinetocooldown.
4.Closethefuel-shutoffvalveundertheseat
(Figure33).
