TURNTABLE
OPERATION
This
unit
is
an
electronically
controlled
fully
automatic
turntable
equipped
with
many
functions
such
as
an
open/close
loading
mecha-
nism,
a
one-touch
operation
function,
and
a
synchronized
recording
function.
Both
automatic
and
manual
play
are
possible
with
the
turntable
unit
brought
out
(opened
state)
or
enclosed
{closed
state},
so
that
correct
operation
presents
the
opportunity
for
a
wide
range
of
use.

Automatic
Operation
(1)
When
the
POWER
button
is
pressed,
power
will
enter
this
unit
and
the
POWER
indi-
cator
will
light
up.
(2)
Press
the
OPEN/CLOSE
button
and
bring
forward
the
turntable
unit.
When
this
is
done,
the
front
cover
will
open
and
close
in
accordance
with
movement
of
the
turn-
table
unit,
and
thus
should
not
be
forced
open
manually.
The
turntable
unit
will
come
out
forwards,
and
so
there
should
be
no
obstacles
in
its
way.

Remove
the
stylus
cover
by
pulling
it
gently
forwards.
(See
Fig.
10)
(4)
Place
your
record
on
the
platter
sheet.
(5)
Switch
the
SIZE
button
and
SPEED
button
in
accordance
with
the
record
which
you
are
about
to
play.
(6)
Press
the
START/STOP
button
when
play-
ing
a
record
in
the
opened
state.
When
play-
ing
a
record
in
the
closed
state,
press
the
START/STOP
button
after
pressing
the
OPEN/CLOSE
button
and
inserting
the
turntable
unit.
(7)
The
platter
will
turn,
the
tonearm
will
move
automatically
to
the
start
position
for
the
first
piece,
and
the
record
will
begin
to
play.
(Automatic
fead-in
operation)

When
the
record
has
been
played,
the
tone-
arm
will
return
automatically
to
the
arm
rest,
and
the
platter
will
stop
turning.

return

START/STOP
button
is
pressed
while
a
record
is
being
played,
play
will
be
inter-
rupted,
the
tonearm
will
return
automatical-
ly
to
the
arm
rest,
and
the
platter
will
stop
turning.

Precautions
(1)
Automatic
playing
of
25cm
records
is
not
possible.
The
SPEED
button
should
be
adjusted
in
accordance
with
the
record
to
be
played,
the
SIZE
button
invariably
set
at
*
30°’,
and
manual
operation
carried
out.
(2)
Touching
the
rotating
platter
or
the
tone-
arm
while
in
operation
should
never
be
done
since
this
will
resuit
in
faulty
operation
and
breakdown.
(3)
If
the
OPEN/CLOSE
button
is
pressed
while
a
record
is
being
played
in
the
opened
state,
the
tonearm
will
rise
from
the
record
sur-
face
for
protection
of
the
stylus
tip
occa-
sioned
by
movement
of
the
turntable
unit,
and
the
record
will
temporarily
cease
to
olay.
After
the
termination
of
such
move-
ment,
the
tonearm
will
lower
once
again
on
to
the
record
surface
and
the
record
will
.
begin
to
play
again
from
almost
exactly
the
same
position.

1f
the
same
operation
is
carried
out
while
a
record
is
playing
in
the
closed
state,
the
turntable
unit
will
come
forward
with
the
tonearm
risen
from
the
record
surface.
When
playing
in
succession,
the
tonearm
should
be
lowered
by
pressing
the
CUEING
button.

FORWARD
button
or
the
REVERSE
button
is
pressed
while
the
tonearm
is
operating
in
the
automatic
lead-in
or
auto-
matic
return
states,
the
tonearm
will
con-
tinue
with
the
operation
in
which
it
is
engaged.
If
the
FORWARD
button
or
the
REVERSE
button
is
pressed
while
a
record
is
being
played,
the
tonearm
will
rise
auto-
matically
from
the
surface
of
the
record.

tonearm

the

table
unit

inwards

platter

Precautions

FORWARD

continuously
pressed
until
the
tonearm

moved

inner
circumference
of
the
record,
the
tone-
arm
will
stop
in
the
risen
state.
If
there-
after
the
CUEING
button
is
pressed,
the
tonearm
will
return
automatically
to
the
arm
rest.

Temporarily
Stopping
Play
The
CUEING
button
should
be
pressed
in
order
temporarily
to
stop
a
record
which
is
being
played.
The
tonearm
will
rise
from
the
surface
of
the
record.
Play:
of
the
record
can
then
be
recommenced
by
pressing
the
CUEING
button
once
again.
The
tonearm
will
lower
on
to
the
record
surface
and
the
record
will
begin
to
play
again
from
almost
exactly
the
same
position.

the
tonearm
has
been
risen
from
the
record
surface
by
means
of
the
CUEING
button
and
is
then
left
in
the
risen
state
for
three
minutes
or
more,
the
tonearm
will
return
automatically
to
the
arm
rest,
and
the
platter
will
stop
turning.

unit

combination
with
the
stereo
cassette

switch
automatically

set

chronized
recording
state,
a
mere
press
of
the
START/STOP
button
of
this
unit
will
result

this
unit
commencing
play
of
the
record
while

PC-V10

When
the
record
comes
to
an
end,
the
PC-V
10
enters
the
pause
state.

record

operation
of
the
CUEING

the
FORWARD
button
or
the
REVERSE
button

this
unit,
the
PC-V10
will
enter
‘the
pause
state.
If
playing
of
the
record

CUEING
button
once
again,
the
PC-V10
will
again
begin
to
record.

enter
the
pause
