(1) Remove the left needle. (Sew only
with the right needle)
(2) Change the presser foot and the
needle plate for roll hemming.
For roll hemming sewing, use the
presser foot marked “B” and the needle
plate “B”. (The presser foot “A” and the
needle plate “A” are for normal sewing).

(1) Remueva la aguja izquierda. (Utilice
solamente la aguja derecha para
coser).
(2) Cambie el prensatelas y la placa-
agujas para orillado doble.
Para ésta costura, use el prensatelas
marcado “B” y la placa aguja “B’’. (El
prensatelas “A” y la placa-aguja “A” son
para costuras normales).
Cambiando el prensatelas y la placa-
aguja
(1) Suba el cuchillo superior (Véase p.19)
(2) Ubique la aguja tan alto como sea
posible girando el volante hacia Ud.
(3) Baje la palanza alzadora.
(4) Afloje el tornillo fijador, del
prensatelas en dirección de la flecha
y quite el prensatelas.
(5) Afloje el tornillo y de la placa
aguja con el destornillador grande y
ret írelos.
(6) Posicione la placa agujas para
orillado doble y apriete los tornillos
y de la placa.
(7) Ubique el prensatelas para orillado
doble y apriete el tornillo de cepo en
dirección de la flecha.
(8) Devuelva el cuchillo superior a su
posición original.

(1) Remueva la aguja izquierda.
(2) Tirar el dedillo de puntada de ud.
(3) Poner el regulador de la anchura de
la puntada en el 5.
(4) Poner el regulador de la largura de la
puntada en el 1.
CHANGING PRESSER FOOT AND
NEEDLE PLATE
 Raise up the upper knife. (See p.19)
 Set the needle to the highest position
by turning the hand wheel toward you.
 Lower the presser foot lifter.
 Loosen the presser foot thumb. Screw
in the direction of arrow and remove
the presser foot.
 Loosen the screw and on the
needle plate with the larger screw
driver and remove them.
 Set the needle plate for roll hemming
and tighten the screw and on it.
 Set the presser foot for roll hemming
and tighten the presser foot thumb
screw in the direction of arrow.
 Put the upper knife back where it was.
SL1T-X
(1) Remove the left needle.
(2) Pull the stitch finger lever towards
you.
(3) Set the stitch width adjusting dial to
5.
(4) Set the stitch length adjuster to 1.
