Straight stitching and reverse sewing

Straight stitch
Position the fabric and lower the presser
foot lever.
Step on the foot controller to begin sewing.

End of sewing
After sewing, turn handwheel toward yourself
until the needle is in the highest position.
Raise the presser foot and pull out the fabric
to the rear.
WARNING
Do not pull the fabric excessively while sewing.
Doing so could break the needle and cause an injury.

Turn the pattern selection dial to choose the pattern.
Turn the handwheel toward yourself to raise the needle.
