Why is my TSC Barcode Reader printing with poor quality?
Poor print quality may be caused by several factors. Try cleaning the thermal print head or adjusting the print density setting. Ensure that the ribbon and media are compatible and that the media thickness is within the specified range. Also, check if the correct power supply is connected to the printer.
What to do if TSC TTP-244 ON-LINE indicator is off and ERR. indicator is on?
If the printer beeps once, this indicates a gap sensor problem. Calibrate the gap sensor or set the paper length correctly in the labeling software/program, and ensure the paper is installed correctly. If the printer beeps twice, it indicates a ribbon sensor problem. Ensure that an outside wound ribbon is used, the ribbon is threaded correctly, and a paper core is installed on the ribbon take-up spindle. You may also need to calibrate the sensitivity of the gap sensor.
