8. Important safety information
Please read the relevant safety information
and limitations-of-use information on the
following pages before using your hearing aid.
Intended use
The intended use of hearing aids is to amplify
and transmit sound to the ears and hereby
compensate for impaired hearing.
The Tinnitus feature is intended for use by
people with tinnitus who also desire
amplication. It provides supplementary
noise stimulation which can help defocus
the user’s attention from their tinnitus.
Indications
General clinical indications for the use of
hearing aids and Tinnitus feature are:
• Presence of hearing loss
• Uni- or bilateral
• Conductive, sensorineural or mixed
• Mild to profound
Cause Possible remedy
Issue: Weak on the telephone
Telephone not
positioned properly
Move telephone receiver
around ear for clearer signal.
Hearing aid requires
adjustment
Consult your hearing care
professional
Issue: mobile phone calls not being heard through
hearing aids
Hearing aids are in flight
mode
Exit flight mode: open
battery door, then close
battery door
Hearing aids are not
paired to the phone
Pair your hearing aids to your
mobile phone (again)
