Safety regulations
- Read this guide carefully before installing or using the appliance, and
conserve this guide with care for any future consultation of users.
- This appliance can only be used to smoke food in the UNOX oven cooking
chamber; any other use does not comply with intended use and is there-
fore hazardous.
- Do not have children, people with limited physical, sensory or mental abil-
ities or scarce experience and/or know-how use the Hyper-Smoker.

Do not use food containing flammable substances (for example, food with al-
cohol).
- Only use Hyper.Smoker inside Unox ovens.
- Only use Hyper.Smoker with a running exhaust system (i.e.: hood).
- Do not excessively fill Hyper.Smoker: if the lid is not correctly closed, the
wood in the container could ignite with damages to the appliance and
possible personal injuries, even serious!
- To load, only use hard wood chips (i.e.: oak, chestnut, walnut, poplar,
acacia, birch, beech), saw dust, pellets. Make sure the wood used is not
chemically treated (i.e.: paint residue, impregnated, varnish, etc.), does
not contain oil or resin, is not moulded.
- At the end of the smoking process, cautiously and slowly open the door
waiting for all produced smoke to exit the cooking chamber.
- Always pay attention and use heat protective clothing to remove Hyper.
Smoker from the heating resistance in the chamber: it remains hot for
several minutes after being turned off.

Clean Hyper.Smoker after each use for hygiene and safety reasons - any
solid/liquid wood residue may ignite or produce unpleasant odours dur-
ing the next smoking:
discard wood residue in a fireproof bin with lid
preventing contact with flammable material.
- Monitor the appliance during its entire operation cycle.
- When the smoker is on, oven preheating may last longer to allow the
smoker to reach smoke production temperature (max 20 minutes).
- If the appliance does not function or functional or structural alterations
are noticed, contact a UNOX authorised customer service centre without
attempting to independently repair the appliance. Request UNOX original
spare parts for any repairs necessary.
- The manufacturer is not liable for repairs performed by unauthorised per-
sonnel or with non original spare parts, as well as any technical modifica-
tion not approved by the manufacturer which null and void the warranty.
