Removing blockages from the brushbar
Replacing the belt or brushbars
Threads caught in the
brushbar can be cut.
CAUTION: Do not open the motor cover.
Use a crosshead
screwdriver to remove the
seven screws. For Dual
Power Reach/Total Home/
Pet Plus models remove
the eight screws.
Remove belt cover from
unit. For Dual Power
Reach/Total Home/Pet
Plus models this will be
in two parts. NOTE:
Wheel is intended to be
removed with belt cover.
Pull both brushbars
away from the
machine to remove.
Remove and
dispose of old belt.
To replace the belt, place
the new belt on the
motor shaft and slide the
brushbars through the belt
NOTE: Place the belt on
rounded area of brushbar
without bristles.
With the belt in place,
pull and slide the
brushbars into the
unit, making sure the
brushbar end caps
are in the correct position.
With the machine in the reclined position replace belt
cover and secure by replacing all screws.

shock, turn the machine o
and unplug from electrical
socket before performing
maintenance/
troubleshooting checks.
