5.- On the other hand, place the spring and the rotating face of the mechanical seal on the impeller stem, figure
3-1.07.
6.- Install the impeller, figure 3-1.07, by fitting the motor shaft inside the impeller shaft and shaft clamp, figure
3-23, and the water cut-off rubber, figure 3-38, outside the shaft, figure 3-25.22. Tighten the clamp bolts lightly,
just to avoid unwanted axial movement.
7.- Once the impeller is installed, the final position of the impeller must be defined. There must be a separation
between the pump body and the impeller of no more than 0.3mm, and at the same time there must be no friction
between both parts. Figure 16 shows the relevant dimensions when defining the position of the impeller. Finally,
tighten the shaft clamp bolts definitively, according to the torque shown in table Nº 6.

8.- Install and fix the pump body, figure 3-2, to the union body, figure 3-3, by means of the corresponding bolts applying the
torque shown in table Nº 6.
9.- Check that the impeller rotates freely by manually turning the shaft from the shaft clamp area. If you notice any kind of
friction between the pump casing and the impeller, disassemble the pump casing and repeat operations 7, 8 and 9.
