OPERATION
MIRRORS
The rear view mirror should always be ad-
justed properly before moving off so that
good vision to the rear is obtained.
Note for vehicles with convex outside
mirror*
Convex (curved outwards) mirrors enlarge
the field of view but they make objects
look smaller. These mirrors make it
diffi-
cult to estimate how far the vehicle behind
is away.
Adjusting mirrors
Normal exterior mirrors are adjusted by
moving the mirror housing.

Electrically adjustable mirrors*
are set by moving the lever in the driver's
door
trim.
Turning the knob from L to R switches
control from left to right mirror.
If the electrical control of the mirror fails
at any time the mirrors can be adjusted
by hand by pressing on the edge of the
mirror surface.
Mirror heating
The electrically operated exterior mirrors
are heated when the heated rear window
is switched on.
Ant-dazzle interior mirror*
With this lever the mirror can be set :z\
the anti-dazzle position:
Lever forward - Normal setting
Lever to rear - Anti-dazzle setting
It is important when setting the
mirror-jj
ensure that the lever on lower edge
mirror is pointing forward.
