Fuel Pre-filter, Bleeding
It is only necessary to purge the fuel system following
maintenance on the system or if a fault has caused it
to run dry.
NOTICE! Be prepared to gather up fluid.

Position a collection vessel.
2 Remove the plug (1) and place a nipple.
NOTICE! There is a special nipple for the filter housing,
order through your Volvo Penta dealer.
3 Connect a transparent hose to the nipple.
4 Operate the hand pump (2) by pumping it until fuel
flows without air bubbles.
5 Remove the hose and nipple.
6 Install and tighten the plug.
