Rider seat
To remove the rider seat
1. Remove the passenger seat. (See
page 6-41.)
2. Lift the seat rearward and up to re-
move it.
To install the rider seat
1. Insert the projections on the front
of the rider seat into the seat hold-
er and the projections on the rear
of the rider seat into the hole on
the frame cross member as
shown. Place the rider seat in the
original position.
2. Install the passenger seat.
TIP
Make sure that the seats are properly
secured before riding.

Rider footrest position
The rider footrests can be adjusted to
one of two positions. From the factory,
the footrests are in the low position.
Have a Yamaha dealer adjust the posi-
tions of the rider footrests.
