6. ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT (SEE FIG. F)
NOTE:
• Always try to adjust the cutting height of the lawn mower while positioned on the area of
grass you plan to mow.
• It is recommended to start on a higher setting and mow a trial area of lawn before deciding
on the nal cutting height position. Then readjust if necessary.
The lawn mower has one cutting height adjustment lever to easily adjust the cutting height.
The lawnmower can be set to 7 cutting heights between 1 1/2”–4” (3.8–10.2 cm).
1) To increase the cutting height, pull the cutting height adjustment lever outward towards the
rear wheel and move it up a notch, towards the rear of the lawn mower.
2) To decrease the cutting height, pull the cutting height adjustment lever outward towards
the front wheel, and move it down a notch, towards the front of the mower.
3) After adjustment, ensure the lever is fully seated in the selected notch.
WARNING! Switch off the mower, and wait for blade to come to a
complete stop. The blades continue to rotate after the machine is
switched off, a rotating blade can cause injury.
Assembly
CAUTION! Do not touch rotating blades.
