Dismantling and reassembling
■ Dismantling
• Make sure the machine and fan motor are
electrically disconnected.
• Remove air ducts (if present at installation),
disconnect coupling or V-belts and dismantle the
machine from the foundation.
• Remove accessories if necessary as well as inspec-
tion covers.
• Loosen leads and cables inside the terminal box
which go to the stator.
• Loosen leads which go to the stator from the brush
rocker.
• Remove the brushes and wrap a piece of 1 mm
thick insulating material around the commutator.
• Put blocks underneath the stator so that both end
shields are unsupported.
• Remove the terminal box.
• Remove ND-end outer bearing cover.
• Unscrew the fixing bolts which tie stator and end
shield together at the ND-end.
• Remove the end shield at the ND-end. Do not
damage the main gasket between end shield and
stator. Do not use sharp edged tools.
• Place a piece of insulating material between arma-
ture and stator.
• Remove the outer bearing cover at the D-end. (In
case of a flange mounted motor, remove the
lubrication tube).
• Unscrew the end shield fixing bolts at the D-end.
Use same precautions regarding the main gasket.
• Lift the armature out of the stator (if necessary use
an extension tube which is slipped over the arma-
ture shaft).
• Protect the bearings against contamination by
suitable means.
• Remove the main gasket very carefully from the
stator.
• Clean the bearing covers and remove the old
grease.
Abbau und Montage
■ Abbau
• Maschine und Ventilatormotor elektrisch vom Netz
trennen.
• Kupplungen und Keilriemen entfernen sowie
Luftrohre demontieren (falls in der Installation
vorhanden) und die Maschine vom Fundament
lösen.
• Falls notwendig Zubehör und Inspektionsfenster
entfernen.
• Lösen der Leitungen und Kabel die vom
Klemmenkasten zum Stator gehen.
• Lösen der Leitungen die vom Stator zu den
Bürstenbrücken gehen.
• Bürsten entfernen und den Kommutator am ganzen
Umfang mit ca. 1 mm dickem Isoliermaterial
schützen.
• Den Stator mit Blöcken unterlegen damit beide
Lagerschilder frei zugänglich sind.
• Klemmenkasten entfernen.
• Aüsseren Lagerdeckel am B-Seite entfernen.
• Lösen der Verbindungsschrauben zwischen
Lagerschild und Stator am B-Seite.
• Lagerschild am B-Seite entfernen. Hierbei keine
scharfkantigen Werkzeuge benutzen damit die
Hauptdichtung zwischen Lagerdeckel und Stator
nicht beschädigt wird.
• Anker und Stator mit Isoliermaterial gegeneinander
isolieren.
• Äusseren Lagerdeckel am A-Seite entfernen (bei
Flanschmotoren vorher den Schmiernippel
wegnehmen).
• Lösen der Befestigungsschrauben des
Lagerschildes am A-Seite. Bitte mit der gleichen
Sorgfalt vorgehen wie bei der Hauptdichtung.
• Anker aus dem Stator heben (falls notwendig
Verlängerungsrohr über die Ankerwelle schieben).
• Die Lager mit geeigneten Mitteln gegen
Verschmutzung schützen.
• Die Hauptdichtung sehr vorsichtig vom Stator
entfernen.
• Die Lagerdeckel reinigen und das alte Fett
entfernen.
